The Northern Silvasti in its element: deliveries to Åliden and brattmyrliden wind farms in winter conditions

The roads leading up to the Åliden and Brattmyrliden sites are not lacking in steep slopes. In addition to the sloping terrain, round-the-clock timber transports and the lack of meeting places along the route also posed challenges.
Unlike terrain shape, weather conditions may fluctuate from one moment to the next. However, no conditions can take Silvasti by surprise, since we were born in the north. Our equipment is in excellent condition, which is significant when facing winter conditions and springtime frost damage on partially unpaved roads. Maintenance must work both on the road and at the depot. In the end, Silvasti trucks moved smoothly on the road following the snowploughs and sanding vehicles that ensured safety.
With careful planning, thorough engineering and professional personnel, any project can be completed on schedule.
