Silvasti delivered turbines to the largest wind farm in norway

In January 2017, started wind turbine component transportations to the so far largest wind farm site in Norway. Components were transported from port of Egersund to the wind farm of Tellenes, route was approximately 45 km. Tellenes wind farm consist 50 WTG’s and the total annual energy output of the wind turbines is approximately 520 GWh.
Due to the Tellenes project, Silvasti opened new office to Norway and several Silvasti employees moved temporarily to work in Norway.
Silvasti’s project scope consisted of vessel discharges and port operations in Egersund port, storing, inland transportations, unloading to the working site’s storage area, loadings at the site and ‘just-in-time’ deliveries from the site storage area to the final delivery point.
Project was completed between January and August and it finished on time.
Along this project Silvasti has strengthened its position in Norway by delivering several other projects to Norway as well.
