Major milestone reached in Silvasti’s TCI- project

Silvasti’s TCI-project of building 30 WTG’s in Northern Finland is progressing on schedule.

The project, which started ramping-up in August, has reached a major milestone, as the first wind turbine has reached it’s full height and mechanical completion during week 41.

The excellent spirit and cooperation between all the parties , combined with proficient project planning and direct dialogue with the end client have made the Europe’s first large scale TCI-project a success.

Innovative planning enabling smaller environmental footprint and cost savings

The innovative delivery and lifting plan has made it possible to thoroughly optimize the hardstand areas and site roads, to ensure the best possible project performance.

Thanks to the efforts of the whole project team, we have been able to achieve significant reduction in the size of the hardstands, without any compromises to the safety, efficiency or usability of the area. Additionally, the in-depth planning has enabled optimization of the site roads.

The optimization of the site infrastructure and delivery planning has resulted in significant cost savings, as well as substantially smaller environmental impacts from the project.
