Wind energy in Northern Sweden

In August 2009 Ville Silvasti Ltd transported several 3MW Nacelles which each were weighing 127 tons from Finland to Northern Sweden.

The final destination was in very challenging place. During the last 5 km there were a vertical climb of 330 meters and the most inclined angle was 14 %. Last 5 km were driven with the help of a big dumper truck. The project contained also transportation of hubs and some 44 meters long blades.
