Silvasti as a part of Slussen- project in Stockholm

Silvasti executed bridge beam transports for Slussen development project in downtown Stockholm, Sweden. The transport project consisted of tens of individual transports.

The beams were loaded onto Silvasti trailers in Oulu, from which their journey towards Stockholm began. The beams were transported from Oulu to Hanko, where the loaded vehicle combination boarded a cargo ship headed to Nynäshamn, Sweden. After the sea journey to Sweden, the steel beams were then transported to the heart of Stockholm, where they were used for bridge renovation purposes

The largest individual transported beams were over 40 metres long, with a weight of just under 40 tons.
