Silvasti transported 5 massive steel structures from Kalajoki, FIN to Kasnäs, FIN. These bridge blocks were used for a new 470 meters long bridge at Lövö.
Silvasti’s scope included loading and securing of structures and transport to the worksite by barges. The two largest structures were each 114 meters long and 11 meters wide. Weight was 240 tons per piece. Rest of the structures were 80 meters long each and weighed around 200 tons per piece. This very demanding project was totally unique in Finland. Everything went smoothly and the challenging project was executed just as planned.
